NOLA Voice Theater brings radio theatre back to New Orleans with the introduction of a three-production program in 2016. The organization is an independent off-shoot from The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation and is led by Theatre Director Vatican Lokey.

The radio theatre program, called "NOLA Voice Theatre", is headed  by Vatican Lokey, who is a leading light in the New Orleans theater scene and with vast experience in radio-theater over several years.

"The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation is all about providing opportunities, and we are delighted that this is the first independent off-shoot to spring from the Foundation's programs to provide education and opportunities and to support our local community," explained The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation's Executive Director Stephen James.

"NOLA Voice Theatre provides some fantastic new opportunities for performers in the region, as well as being an historical return to a highly-popular form of entertainment which has often been overlooked in this hi-tech age. Ironically, it is the advent of hi-tech communications, with internet radio especially, which has helped to facilitate the resurgence of radio theater."

Added Theatre Director Vatican Lokey, "NOLA Voice Theatre is dedicated to preserving and performing the art of radio theatre and voice acting. We are indebted to The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation for providing the community with the opportunity to form New Orleans' newest theatrical troupe, performing shows from the golden age of radio and promoting the creation of new works for voice actors."

The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation is delighted to be associated with and to support NOLA Voice Theater, which is an independent and privately-run off-shoot from The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation, Inc.
