November 30th, 2013 - Movie, theater, and entertainment industry advocate Susie Labry was the winner of the top accolade at the inaugural NOLA Voice Talent Foundation (NVT) Awards.
The awards are a ground-breaking feature of the Performing Arts and Entertainment industry in Louisiana, and have been introduced to recognize the talent and commitment to the industry made by individuals to the benefit of the community.
The inaugural award-winners were as follows:
And long-time NOLA Voice Talent member Bill Lee received the Most Valuable Performer (MVP) Award. BIll was adjudged to be the member of The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation who had made a most significant contribution to the Foundation and thus to the community. Bill also stars alongside Lorraine LeBlanc in "It's a Wonderful Life"; this year being his fifth year in the production.
