The Venue - NVT Awards 2016

The Vieux Carré Ballroom,
2nd Floor, Harrah's Hotel, New Orleans


We are delighted to hold the NVT Awards and Background Actors Guild Awards at the prestigious Harrah's Hotel Vieux Carré Ballroom in downtown New Orleans.

The NOLA Voice Talent Foundation is extremely grateful for the generous support of Harrah's Hotel New Orleans - part of Caesar's Entertainment - and its staff, in helping to bring this amazing venue to the people of the New Orleans and region movie and related industries for this year's gala and awards ceremony.

Parking and Ballroom location

The hotel is situated at 228 Poydras St, New Orleans, LA 70130, adjacent to Fulton Street - a beautiful pedestrianized thoroughfare resplendent with high-quality restaurants.

Parking for the hotel is either by valet at the main entrance (recommended) or in the self-park facility, entrance at 601 Convention Center Drive.


If you self park, please take the elevator to the first floor elevator lobby (see photo on left) then exit across the Fulton Street covered walkway into the Hotel Lobby.


The elevators are across the lobby, opposite the check-in desk. Please take these to the second floor, where you will exit into the ballroom lobby and the cocktail reception area.

Set in banquet style in this picture, though the awards gala will be set in theater style, with drinks and food in the ballroom lobby area, part of which is pictured below.
